Privacy Policy
Plan5500 is operated by PGBDIC LLC, an Illinois limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains how the Site handles information. It is written to describe the Service as it actually works today; it does not describe practices we do not engage in.
No accounts, no sign-in
Plan5500 does not offer or require user accounts, logins, or passwords. We do not ask you to create a profile, and we do not knowingly collect names, email addresses, or other personal contact information from visitors, except if you choose to email us directly (see Contact).
Information processed when you use the Service
- Search queries. When you search, your query is sent in the page URL and processed to return matching public Form 5500 records. We use queries only to operate the search feature.
- Technical/server data. Like virtually all websites, our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically receive technical information necessary to deliver and secure the Service — for example, IP address, browser/user-agent, requested URL, and timestamp — and may retain it in standard request logs.
Cookies and tracking
Plan5500 does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies and does not embed third-party advertising or analytics trackers. Pages are server-rendered and contain near-zero client-side scripting.
Service providers
We use third-party infrastructure providers to host the application and database and to deliver content. These providers process technical data on our behalf solely to operate, secure, and deliver the Service, subject to their own privacy and security terms. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Public Form 5500 data
The plan, sponsor, and provider information shown on the Service comes from public U.S. Department of Labor / EBSA Form 5500 filings. That information is public government record, not personal information that we collected from you. Questions about the underlying filings should be directed to the relevant government source.
Children
The Service is intended for a general, professional audience and is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
